The market price index (MPI), which reflects wholesale food prices, fell by 0.55% this week to 2.370 points, according to data from the Commodity Exchanges and Wholesale Markets State Commission. This is the third consecutive week that the MPI is decreasing, having dropped by 4.64% since March 10, when it stood at 2.480 points.
