J Balvin, recognized as a global phenomenon of Latin music and a pioneer in modern reggaeton, is coming to Bulgaria for a concert, the organizers from Fest Team announced Thursday.

On July 1, in Arena Sofia Velodrome, the Colombian star will present his greatest hits.

The event is part of the Sofia Solid series.

José Álvaro Osorio Balvin, as his real name is, was born on May 7, 1985 in Medellín, Colombia. He is one of the most listened to artists in the world and an absolute example of the universal language of music. Hits like Mi Gente, Ginza, Ay Vamos and Qué Más Pues? mark an entire generation, and his stage presence makes every concert an experience, the Fest Team points out.

His career includes landmark moments such as appearing on the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, collaborations with Beyoncé, Skrillex and Rosalia, and accolades from the Latin Grammys, Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards.
