A custom typeface specifically created for the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will be unveiled at the National Press Club of BTA in Sofia on December 20, 2024.

The font, developed by the National Academy of Art (NAA), is based on the Cyrillic alphabet system, preserving the tradition of the disciples of Cyril and Methodius. All printed and digital texts, documents, and materials from BTA will now have a consistent look.

The presentation will include NAA Rector Georgi Yankov, BTA Director General Kiril Valchev, Patent Office President Olya Dimitrova, NAA Advertising Design lecturer Svetlin Balezdrov, NAA Typography lecturer Zhaklina Zhekova, and NAA post-graduate from the Typography program Nikolay Petrusenko.
