Vice President Iliana Iotova will open the Bulgarian stand at the London Book Fair, the press office of the presidential institution said. For the second year in a row, Bulgaria is participating in the forum, the second largest after the New York Book Fair.

The Bulgarian stand, which is being held under the auspices of the Vice President at the invitation of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London, will present famous Bulgarian authors, some of whom have been translated into English, Bulgarian translators, publishers and literary agencies. As part of the Bulgarian presentation of the book fair at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute and in the oldest London bookstore Hatchards, a number of meetings of Bulgarian writers, translators, publishers with their British colleagues and the London audience will take place.

During her visit to the British capital, Iliana Iotova will meet with representatives of the Bulgarian community and Bulgarian Sunday schools from the region. The Vice President will meet with the Deputy Mayor of London, Joanne McCartney, who is responsible for children and families.

In January, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute (BCI) in London said that for the second year in a row, Bulgaria will participate in the prestigious 2025 London Book Fair. The literary event will take place between March 11 and 13. The Bulgarian stand will be fully dedicated to the needs of Bulgarian authors, translators, publishers and literary agencies for business meetings and conversations. The stand is number 2D70, located on the second floor of the Olympia Hall, Kensington, London. It has 24.5 sq. m., bookshelves and three tables, each with two chairs.
