site.btaScholars, Experts Arrive in Bulgaria for Chinese Culture and Science Days Nov. 7-29

Ten universities and many cultural centres in the country will host the Days of Chinese Culture and Science in Bulgaria from November 7 to 29, the organizers said on Monday.

According to them, some of the most prominent Chinese scholars and experts in the humanities will visit different cities and give lectures, sharing their academic expertise with both students from relevant majors and a wider audience. The project under the motto "China - How and Why" was initiated by the Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College in honour of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bulgaria.

The speakers, coming in November, will reveal the origins of Chinese civilization, its development, spirituality, characteristics of different eras, and major trends in terms of philosophy, history, literature, art, and Chinese medicine.
