site.btaAward Ceremony of Silver Yantra International Pop Music Contest for Young Singers Held in Veliko Tarnovo

Ten-year-old Giuseppe Di Menza from Italy won the Grand Prix at the 22nd Silver Yantra International Pop Music Contest for Young Singers in Veliko Tarnovo on Wednesday.

Di Menza received a prize of EUR 1,000 and a statuette, said Rumyana Nacheva, director, creator and producer of the music competition. Romanian Riana Rusu and Bulgarian Victoria Kamencheva were also in serious competition for the prize.

Anna Stavreva, known to the public from her participation in The Voice of Bulgaria, was awarded the prize of the Veliko Tarnovo Mayor, who is a patron of the competition. The Veliko Tarnovo Regional Governor's Award went to Aram Nickoghosyan from Armenia, while the Award of the Municipal Council Chair went to Pavel Petrov from Sevlievo.

Diana Bivolarska, Valentina Vaneva, Ioana Tasheva and Kristina Gocheva won the group award, while Sara Matei and Ilinca Ciobanu from Romania, Aram Nickoghosyan from Armenia and Raffaele Castellucci from Italy all were awarded in the Native Language Song category.

In the Singing Families category, participants included families from Romania, Plovdiv, Sofia, Dobrich, Karlovo, Silistra and Panagyurishte. The award was unanimously awarded to Victoria, Stiliyan, Iliana and Radoslav Ilievi from Plovdiv.

An international jury with Honorary Chair Silviya Kazarova, Chair Srebra Mihaleva and members from Moldova, Italy, Romania, Latvia and Armenia had the task of evaluating the performances of the participants.

The Silver Yantra International Pop Music Contest for Young Singers is organized by the Silver Yantra-2003 Association, Veliko Tarnovo Municipality and children's pop studio Rumina.
