site.btaBoyan Mednikarov and Ventsislav Mutafchiyski Awarded Honorary Doctoral Degree by Varna Medical University

Flotilla Admiral Prof. Boyan Mednikarov, Rector of the Varna Naval Academy, and Major General Prof. Ventsislav Mutafchiyski, head of the Sofia Medical Military Academy, were awarded honorary doctoral degree by the Varna Medical University. 
 
The two were recognized at a graduation ceremony at Varna’s Palace of Culture and Sport for Class 2023 of Varna’s Medical University. The first class of military doctors graduating from the Naval Academy received their diplomas after successfully completing their six-year studies. 
 
The programme is created jointly by Varna’s Naval Academy, Varna’s Medical University and Sofia’s Medical Military Academy.  
 
Attending the ceremony were Varna Mayor Blagomir Kotsev, Navy Commander Rear Admiral Kiril Mihaylov, state officials and foreign diplomats.
