site.btaSofia Philharmonic to Visit Thessaloniki on October 22

The Sofia Philharmonic will visit Thessaloniki. On October 22 at 9pm local time at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall the Philharmonic will present a symphonic concert with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, said the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Thessaloniki on its website on Thursday.

Nayden Todorov will conduct the performance.

The event is held within the framework of the Thessaloniki-Sofia: Balkan Cultural Bridge programme, added the Bulgarian diplomatic representation.

The Consulate General said that the event will feature Veselin Stoyanov’s Festive Overture, Maurice Ravel’s La Valse, a choreographic poem for symphony orchestra, and Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky/Maurice Ravel.
