Minister of Education and Science Galin Tsokov Thursday addressed teachers on the occasion on World Teachers' Day, his Ministry said in a press release. In his words, World Teachers' Day is yet another occasion to express the entire Bulgarian society's gratitude to teachers' work and dedication. "To be the person who ignites the thirst for knowledge, who opens new worlds, creates good and honest people and forms tomorrow's leaders of Bulgaria - that is a reason to be proud but also a huge responsibility," he said.

"I know that there are difficult moments in our honorable profession and that the new time creates new challenges for us. I know about many of the problems you encounter. However, every day in which you give your all in the name of your students is yet another step towards the change in Bulgaria. Only together can be walk this path and guarantee our children's good future," Tsokov told teachers.

He wished educators health and success, because "your successes are also successes for Bulgaria".
