site.btaPresident Radev to Honour Winners of John Atanasoff Award for 2023

Head of State Rumen Radev will award the winners of the presidential initiative John Atanasoff Award for 2023, the presidential press secretariat said on Wednesday. The awards will be presented to pupils, students and young Bulgarian scientists in the field of computer science in four categories. The presidential initiative is being implemented for the 21st consecutive year.

The award ceremony will take place on the anniversary of the birth of the creator of the first electronic computer with regenerative memory - American mathematician, physicist and electrical engineer of Bulgarian origin John Atanasoff.
