А medieval festival titled "Remember the Glory" will take place between October 6 and 8 in the Tuida fortress in Sliven, the organizers of the event – representatives of Sliven Municipality and Tuida fortress, said here on Tuesday. The 2023 edition of the festival - its seventh, is dedicated to the ancient and medieval past of the region.

The participants will gather at 5 p.m. on October 6 in front of the Sliven Municipality building and will march along the city’s main street. On October 7 and 8, visitors will see a historical combat tournament and a traditional archery competition. The forum will also feature crafts, games and reenactments.

The programme also includes a historical spectacle titled "The Covenant of Kubrat", dance performances by the Bulgare National Folklore Ensemble, as well as a fire show.
