site.btaSofia Hosts Vladimir Chukich's First Solo Exhibition in Bulgaria

Grafikart gallery in Sofia will host Vladimir Chukich's first solo exhibition in Bulgaria. The exhibition comprised of 50 works will be open from October 5 until November 3 Grafikart, the organizers said.

Speaking about his art, Chukich said: "I see the picture in my dream and then I create it".

The exhibition organizers said: "Vladimir Chukich is interested in history, the old masters and music, and these are three of the main themes that provoke his mind to create images and transfer them to the graphic plate. Chukich's art to this day is marked with fantastic forms, mysticism and symbolism".

Chukich was born in Haskovo, South Central Bulgaria, on October 10, 1958. Graduated from the School of Art in Kazanlak, with specialization in Graphic art and Illustration. Invited to Paris where he had a solo exhibition entitled Cite de's Art. Had three international exhibitions in Japan, two in Slovenia, one in Belgrade, three in Italy and three in the USA.
