site.btaBulgaria Takes Part in Art of Living Cultural Festival

Bulgarian Denitsa Stancheva from Boston is the main organizer of the Bulgarian participation in the Art of Living festival, BG Voice reported.

The 2023 edition of the event will be held in the US capital Washington DC. The arena is the National Mall in Washington - a large park with iconic monuments such as the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. The stage itself is over 2,044 square meters in size.

The festival traditionally takes place over 3 consecutive days, from September 29 to October 1, when all streets around the arena will be closed. 

So far, 370,000 tickets have been bought from all over the world and 17,000 participants. 

Bulgaria will be represented by 300 participants from Chicago, Boston and Washington.

Folklore formations Ludo Mlado - Boston with choreographers Pepi Petrov and Marieta Mircheva, Horo - Chicago with choreographer Irina Gocheva, and Zharava - Washington with choreographer Desi Jordanoff will perform. Desi Dobreva and Tatiana Serbinska will sing.
