The Sofia Regional Prosecution Office has pressed charges against singer Beloslava for driving under the influence of alcohol. She is one of the most popular Bulgarian jazz and soul singers, as well as a songwriter and producer.

Beloslava was pulled over by police late at night on July 11, 2023 in Sofia and was tested for alcohol. The field test showed that her BAC was 1.25 ‰.

The investigation continues. Beloslava apologized after the incident became public, saying that she had “made a huge mistake” by drinking and driving.
