site.btaDay 107: RSV 421 Nears Strait of Gibraltar

At 9 pm ship time (10 pm Eastern European time) on April 12, the Bulgarian naval research vessel Sv. Sv. Kiril i Metodii (RSV 421), was located about 120 nautical miles from the Strait of Gibraltar, from where it will enter the Mediterranean Sea on the way back to Varna after its successful first participation in the 31st National Antarctic Expedition to Livingston Island. RSV 421 sails northeast across the Atlantic off the coast of Morocco.
