Bulgaria welcomes the ceasefire agreement between the US and Ukraine in Jeddah, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov wrote on X Wednesday.

“The agreement is an important step towards achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine. We call on all sides for political will for peace. Bulgaria is ready to participate in the peace process together with the US and the EU,” Zhelyazkov wrote. 

Reuters published the full text of the joint US-Ukrainian statement after bilateral talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
