site.btaAdditional Resources Approved under Health Ministry's Budget

At its sitting here on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved the allocation of BGN 27,731,200 in  additional resources under the Health Ministry's budget for 2024. The resources are for an additional transfer to the National Health Insurance Fund for activities related to the treatment of persons aged up to/over 18 under Article 82 of the Health Act (urgent conditions; stationary psychiatric help; compulsory treatment and/or isolation).

The additional resources will ensure adequate, consistent, and timely funding of the activities that the law states are a state responsibility, and will prevent the creation of social tension and pressure.
