“The battle inside is for a caretaker prime minister. Let them decide and go to elections,” MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski said in connection with debates in Parliament over the election of a National Assembly chair. He described what was happening in the plenary hall as a misfortune, called for elections and for people to choose a clear governance.

Peevski said he is not worried about who will be caretaker prime minister and interior minister. “I want elections because there should already be thought for the people,” Peevski said, adding "If we are elected, we will take the responsibility to govern".

He said the parliamentary elections were "absolutely legitimate" and asked those MPs who thought otherwise why they were inside the plenary hall. "We see inside that they don't know what they are doing. I call on the people to elect a clear winner at the next elections who will take responsibility for people to live well and will take care of Bulgaria," Peevski added.
