Vazrazhdane sent two draft decisions to the parties that want a sanitary cordon around Delyan Peevski and his Movement for Rights and Freedoms – New Beginning in Parliament, the party's press centre said on Friday, adding that the decisions were not sent to GERB.
The formation pointed out that the draft decisions had already been sent to the coalition Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) in response to their proposal to isolate Peevski.
One of the draft decisions proposed by Vazrazhdane is to hold a referendum asking people if they want to keep the Bulgarian lev as the only official currency in this country until 2043.
The second draft decision is to oblige the Council of Ministers to take the necessary actions to preserve jobs, coal mining and electricity production in the Maritsa Iztok energy complex. It asks the National Assembly to oblige the Council of Ministers to immediately suspend all administrative, legal and executive actions aimed directly and/or indirectly at the early termination of the operation of the coal-fired facilities that are part of the Maritsa Iztok complex.
"We hope that the declarations about a sanitary cordon around Peevski are not just words like the positions of the political parties regarding the annulment of the elections - a lot of words and no actions," the message further said.
