site.btaMilitary Personnel, Equipment to Be Transported on National Roads until End-October

Due to rotation of military units, which are participating in a joint Bulgarian-US training at the Novo Selo range, columns of military vehicles will transport military personnel and equipment, using the national road network, the Defence Ministry said in a press release.

The convoys will be escorted by Military Police Service units.

On October 28, high-level guests of the NATO Multinational Battlegroup Bulgaria command will attend and observe military exercises at the the Novo Selo training area. The event is led by representatives of the Italian armoured brigade "Ariete", with the participation of the NATO Multinational Battlegroup Bulgaria. An invitation to attend was extended to Bulgarian caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.

Attending the event will also be Brigadier General Domenico Leotta, Commander of the Ariete Brigade, as well as senior officers from the Bulgarian Army.
