site.btaCaretaker Cabinet Extends Deadline for Rented Storage of Voting Machines

The caretaker government has extended the deadline for rented storage of voting machines to three years, the Government Information Service said Monday. The decision enters into force on October 1. 

The caretaker Finance Minister will provide the necessary resources for the decision's implementation. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has to conclude the corresponding contracts for rented storage space.

With the matter of the voting machines' storage settled between the Council of Ministers and CEC on Sunday, the machine voting on October 27 is guaranteed to be smooth, the Government Information Service said.
