site.btaCabinet Allocates BGN 2.8 Mln for Scientific Research

The Cabinet Wednesday approved BGN 2,835,000 for the financing of the first stage of projects under the 2024 Excellent Research and People for the Development of European Science National Scientific Programme.

The programme will be implemented on a competitive basis by the Bulgarian National Science Fund over a period of eight years, using a total budget of BGN 14,175,000. Its long-term goal is to significantly increase the quality of human resources for conducting research in Bulgaria at the highest level.

The projects under the programme will support promising scientists, encouraging them to work together on scientific problems of national and international importance, guided by a leading researcher under the rules of the European scientific programmes.
