Emerging from a meeting with President Rumen Radev, newly designated caretaker prime minister Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva said that she is starting talks with the current ministers and other experts.

"I will form a cabinet to ensure the normal functioning of the State until a regular government is formed," she said. 

Kozhareva stressed that the most important task of the caretaker government is to hold fair elections.

"I have made this commitment given the situation our country is in and each one of us must take our responsibility. The President has given a deadline of August 19 to present a draft cabinet, which means that starting tomorrow I will start talks with the current ministers as well as other experts," the new caretaker prime minister said.
