"We saw this decision coming," Socialist party acting leader Atanas Zafirov said by way of comment on a fresh decision of the Constitutional Court invalidating some of the 2023 revisions to the Constitution. He was speaking to the press at the start of a meeting of many left-wing forces.

He also said, "I am happy that what we have been saying, about the sloppy revisions in the chapter on the judicial power, were proven right by the Constitutional Court decision. [...] The reform was done most unprofessionally and had many controversial aspects. The moment they were voted, it was clear that we will have this result."
