There Is Such a People (TISP) finds unacceptable some things in a draft declaration with an anti-corruption legislative agenda, proposed by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB). "There are absolutely unacceptable things in this declaration, as an approach," TISP floor leader Toshko Yordanov said after his party met with CC-DB.
He argued that a much more practical approach would be "to sit down to draw up a programme of governance and, based on that, to seek a postponement of the government-forming mandate, but not by three months".
He also said, "If the DB changes its approach and starts to work out a governance programme with the political forces that would support such a cabinet, I think we have common goals."
In his words, CC-DB could then talk to President Rumen Radev about some small postponement before handing over the mandate to implement such a governance programme.
TISP is adamant that the declaration should be revised to make it acceptable. According to them, it should include the Referendums Act.
