There is heavy traffic at some of Bulgaria's border control checkpoints with Romania and Serbia, Border Police said on their website on Monday. The information is valid as at 6 a.m.

At the border with Romania, there is heavy traffic for trucks entering and exiting Bulgaria through the Kardam checkpoint.

Due to an overhaul of the Bulgarian section of Ruse-Giurgiu Danube Bridge, a temporary traffic organisation is introduced. The repair works are carried out during daylight hours and traffic is one-lane through and regulated by traffic light.

At the border with Serbia, there is heavy traffic for cars entering Bulgaria through the Kalotina checkpoint.

Traffic at the border crossing points with Greece, the Republic of North Macedonia, and Turkiye is normal.
