Speaking from the parliamentary rostrum on Wednesday during the inaugural sitting of the 50th National Assembly, Victoria Vassileva from Velichie (Grandeur) political party said that "whether Bulgarian citizens see us as villains or heroes depends solely on our actions."

Vassileva highlighted that the National Assembly's mandates always begin with programmatic speeches filled with promises that remain unfulfilled. "These speeches contain pledges that are forgotten the next day," she added.

As part of her statement, Vassileva read poems by famous Bulgarian poet Damyan Damyanov.
