site.btaGERB-UDF Invites Parliamentary Parties to Government-Forming Negotiations
GERB-UDF has sent invitations for meetings to the parliamentary parties entering the 50th National Assembly, GERB's press service reported on Monday. GERB-UDF proposes to have the issues affecting the Bulgarian people on the agenda.
The negotiating team on GERB-UDF's side includes the MPs Raya Nazaryan, Temenuzhka Petkova and Denitsa Sacheva. The invitations sent propose that the meetings be held in order of the parties' electoral weight in the last elections.
The parties and coalitions invited on Monday are the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria and Vazrazhdane. Tuesday's parties include There Is Such a People and Velichie [Grandeur].
The meetings will be held in the National Assembly building. After each meeting, the GERB-UDF negotiating team will make brief statements to the media.
Head of State Rumen Radev is convening the newly elected 50th National Assembly for its first sitting on June 19, his press office said Monday.
