Scattered cloud, mostly sunny in many places. Cumulonimbus clouds will form during the midday and afternoon hours in the mountains and later in the rest of the country. Brief thundershowers. Intense rainfall and hailstorms are expected to occur in North Bulgaria and last well into the night. Light wind, northwesterly in Northwest Bulgaria and northeasterly in other areas. Highs: 30-35 C, slightly lower in Northwest Bulgaria, around 29 C in Sofia.

The Black Sea coast: Scattered cloud, mostly sunny before noon. Cumulonimbus clouds will form after noon. Brief rainfall. A high amount of precipitation and thunder are expected mainly along the northern coast. Hailstorm conditions. Light to moderate easterly wind. Highs: 23-28 C. Sea water temperature: 22-25 C, lower north of Cape Kaliakra.

The mountains: Cumulonimbus clouds will form in the afternoon. Brief rainfall and thunder, especially intense in the Balkan Mountains. Moderate to strong west-southwesterly wind. Highs: about 25 C at 1,200 m, about 16 C at 2,000 m.
