At a news conference in the BTA National Press Club here Wednesday, Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) co-leader Kiril Petkov said that 80% of Bulgarians are not satisfied with justice, healthcare, and infrastructure. "We know that there is big thirst for change, and we want to tell them that this change depends on them," he added. Petkov was in Silistra to meet with citizens and present CC-DB's candidates for MPs from Silistra's 20th constituency.
He said that sociological data show 17% have firmly decided to vote for CC-DB, and another 7% are still undecided. "We travel from city to city to convince them to vote, because the power of [Movement for Rights and Freedoms leader Delyan] Peevski and [GERB leader Boyko] Borissov comes from those who do not vote," Petkov noted.
According to him, CC-DB's top-of-the-list candidate in Silistra, Bogomil Petkov, is the right person for the region, because he comes from the town with the most foreign investments - Sevlievo - and has personally brought part of them there.
