The NATO Intelligence Fusion Centre (NIFC) Thursday held the Spring Session of NATO's Senior Policy and Resource Committee in Sofia, hosted by the Defence Intelligence Service (DIS). The meeting brought together nearly 50 representatives of NATO member and partner countries.

The event was organized in the context of the NIFC's growing role in the intelligence support of NATO operations, particularly amid the complicated situation after Russia's aggression against Ukraine, DIS said. Ways to improve the provision of timely, quality information to the community's governing bodies were on the agenda. 

The hosting of the event by DIS once again demonstrates Bulgaria's role and efforts to meet its commitments, not only to the intelligence community but to the Alliance as a whole.
