site.btaGeorgi Yordanov Appointed Public Financial Inspection Agency Head

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova has appointed Georgi Yordanov as head of the Public financial Inspection Agency. He is replacing Ilka Dimova-Mazgaleva. 

Yordanov has a vast record in expert and senior positions. Since January 20233 he has headed internal audit department at the Bulgarian News Agency. In February 2020 he was appointed chief of the State Gambling Commission and after it was disbanded, he became advisor to the Finance Minister until May 2021. Between 2014 and 2020 he was cabinet de chef of the Finance Minister.
