The weather conditions for mountain hiking on Friday are poor, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) told BTA.

Windy and foggy on mountain tops. Temperatures range from minus 8C to minus 2C.

All the ski resort facilities are working, the ski slopes have been cleared. In general, the conditions for winter sports are good, according to MRS.

It will be mostly cloudy in the mountains, reported National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. There will be snow showers in many places, mainly in the Balkan range. Moderate north-northwesterly wind. Highs: around 1C at 1,200 metres above sea level and around minus 6C at 2000 m.
