PM, Varna Mayor Join Students in Math Competition

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, the Mayor of the Black Sea city of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, and his deputy Pavel Popov joined students in a math competition in the local math high school. Denkov visited the school during a visit to Varna Monday. 

The guests were assigned by lot to the teams of students in grades 6 to 12. They had to solve three problems in 20 minutes.

The jury in the competition consisted of students who had won medals at national and international competitions.

The team which the Prime Minister joined took the second place. The team with the Deputy Mayor came first and the Mayor's team placed third.

Before the competition, the Prime Minister was shown round the school campus and the STEM Center for Technology in Creative Industries.
