Bulgaria's Parliament on Wednesday voted, 133-1 with 36 abstentions, to adopt on first reading amendments to the Health Act introduced by the MPs of There Is Such a People (TISP). The amendments introduce mobile medical aid using specialized vehicles in settlements without general practitioners or a permanent medical station. The proposal is intended to ensure prevention and timely treatment of diseases, TISP said.

Mobile medical aid will ensure timely, competent, qualified, quality effective preventive, diagnostic and treatment activities, using a specialized vehicle equipped for providing medical aid for internal diseases and express blood tests.
