GERB-UDF leader Boyko Borissov wrote in his personal Facebook profile: "May 2024 be a stable and secure year for Bulgaria".

Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria co-leader Kiril Petkov said on Facebook: "We have laid the foundations for a real, deep reform in the justice system, which before that had not happened for years". He pointed out that Bulgaria became a full member of Schengen on Saturday and expressed satisfaction with the fact that this obliges Europe and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency to fund Bulgaria's efforts to protect its borders from the migrant flow. Petkov said that this new step of Bulgaria's towards European integration is bad news for Russian President Vladimir Putin, as his influence here grows weaker.

Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov wished all Bulgarians strength and wisdom. He said: "Never forget that our greatest friend and enemy at the same time is our people itself - simultaneously having exceptional qualities and destructive nihilism! Two very simple things are required of those of us, who wish to lead our people - the ability to bring out the best in them and personal example in the daily struggle to do so! I fervently believe in the future of a free, independent, united and Great Bulgaria!"

Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Floor Leader Delyan Peevski said that 2024 is a time for a new beginning and added that "the best is yet to come". Peevski's statement reads: "Let peace triumph over wars this year, because this is the greatest asset of our time. Let us walk confidently on our Euro-Atlantic path, overcoming obstacles with reason and strength. Let us be enlightened with wisdom in our decisions and work for the people and the good of Bulgaria".

Bulgarian Socialist Party leader Korneliya Ninova published a video address in her Facebook profile saying that 2023 was an eventful year that posed many challenges. She added: "I know it was difficult for each of us, but I believe that 2024 will be better for Bulgaria. Let us meet it with new hope for good and prosperity. I wish that wars will stop and the world will calm down, that there will be no diseases, that every person will be fulfilled in life and feel satisfied. Let us love our families, respect our loved ones, let us forget division and hatred".
