At 7:45 a.m. a representative of the Sofia Regional Directorate to the Interior Ministry will inform about the measures taken to protect public order in connection with upcoming events in Sofia on Thursday, the Interior Ministry said. The Independence Day of Ukraine will be marked with events in the capital. 

A charity initiative is planned from 16:00 to 21:00 in the City Garden, the facade of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre will be illuminated in the colours of the national flags of Ukraine and Bulgaria, and a concert will be held. 

In the evening, from 19:00 to 20:00, a procession is planned from the area of the Revival Garden to the City Garden. At the same time in the evening, there is a football match in Sofia.
