Speaking to journalists in Parliament on Wednesday, MP of Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) Nikolay Denkov said they are ready to discuss what their priorities are, because this is the way to seek some kind of understanding and a common solution. “However, we are extremely sceptical that the third mandate can be realized,” he added.

Regarding Delyan Peevski's accusations against CC-DB, Denkov commented that the MRF chairman is trying to divert attention.

In Denkov's words, the report sent by Peevski to all institutions by the ad hoc committee investigating the corrupt practices in the Customs Agency is a "clumsy ploy", which he is using to try to cover up the problems he has within MRF, the scandal and the rift that is developing inside. Another reason, according to Denkov, is the proposal in the ad hoc committee investigating Martin “Notary” Bojanov and Petyo “Euro” Petrov to summon Delyan Peevski for a hearing. "My appeal to him is to appear in the committee and to tell, to present his version," Denkov said.

Regarding the position of the press secretariat of the head of State that there was a proposal in October 2023 to appoint an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Ukraine, which was respected by the President, Denkov said that former Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel had spoken with the head of State on this topic. "No decision to propose an ambassador has passed through the Council of Ministers because no such proposal has been submitted by the Foreign Ministry," he added, urging the media to approach Mariya Gabriel and the presidential institution on the issue.
