Over 80% of buildings in Sofia have no protection against lightning, especially old apartment buildings. The absurd thing is that they had one when they were built, but generally when their roofs were renovated in recent years the installations were removed, engineer Hristomir Ivanov said on Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) Wednesday.
