People, injured in Sunday's accident with a Serbian bus on Trakia Motorway, are being transported by two specialized vehicles from the Stara Zagora hospital (South Central Bulgaria) to the Serbian border, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry said here on Friday.

The escort is scheduled to arrive at the Kalotina border checkpoint at around 11:20 a.m. Arrangements have been made for the injured to be taken over by Serbian medical teams after crossing the border.

Twelve children between the ages of six and 16 and two adults sustained injuries during the accident on Sunday. Some of them are already home in Serbia. The prosecuting magistracy pressed charges against the bus driver. The accident is believed to have been caused by human error.
