Traffic is heavy at the exit for trucks at the Kapitan Andreevo checkpoint on the border with Turkiye, the Bulgarian Border Police said on its website on Monday morning. Traffic is normal at all other border crossings with Turkiye as well as those with North Macedonia and Serbia. 

Border Police recall that the passage through the Malko Tarnovo checkpoint is temporarily carried out in one lane due to reconstruction works. Also, the Danube Bridge connecting Bulgaria's Ruse and Romania's Giurgiu will be closed to traffic on March 27 due to repairs works.
