The two perpetrators of Wednesday's terror attack in Ankara have been identified. They are members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorist organization, Turkiye’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on X.
In two different posts, Yerlikaya wrote that the two perpetrators have been identified as a man called Ali Orek, codename "Rojger", and a woman called Mine Sevjin Alcicek.
On Wednesday afternoon, five people were killed and 22 were injured in a terrorist attack targeting the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) Ankara Kahramankazan facilities. The two attackers were neutralized. The facility attacked is some 35 km from the centre of the Turkish capital.
According to Turkish media, the attackers got into a taxi, then killed the driver and put his body in the trunk. The two terrorists drove the taxi to the main entrance of TUSAŞ, after which the woman blew herself up and the other attacker managed to break into the building, shooting at the security guards and people around with an automatic weapon.
