Truck traffic is intense at some of the border crossing points with Romania and Greece on Monday morning, Border Police reported on its website on Saturday morning.

On the border with Romania, car traffic is heavy at checkpoints Ruse and Vidin, while truck traffic is heavy at checkpoints Kardam, Oryahovo, Nikopol and Durankulak.

There is intense car traffic at the exits of Kulata and Makaza on the border with Greece. Only cars and vans can pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

At the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. At Kalotina, construction and installation works are being carried out. The works require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganization of the traffic of the vehicles passing through. During the holidays, travellers with cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organization before and in the area of the border crossing may extend the crossing time.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points along the border with North Macedonia and Turkiye.
