Traffic is heavy at some of the border crossing points (BCPs) for trucks at the exit along the border with Romania, Serbia and Turkiye, the Border Police General Directorate said. The information is up to date as of 6 am on Monday morning.

On the border with Romania, traffic is heavy at Vidin, Nikopol and Oryahovo BCPs. The Ruse Regional Road Directorate of the Road Infrastructure Agency said that between May 13 to 31 emergency road repairs will be carried out on the bridge over the Danube between Ruse and Giurgiu. A temporary traffic organization will be introduced. The repair works will be carried out during daylight hours and traffic will be carried out in one lane.

Traffic is heavy at the Kalotina border crossing on the border with Serbia. At the Kalotina BCP, construction works are being carried out, which require a temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganization of the traffic of passing vehicles. During holidays, those travelling by car should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organization before and in the area of the border crossing may extend crossing times.

Traffic is heavy on the border with Turkiye at the Kapitan Andreevo BCP.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points on the border with Greece. Only cars and vans can pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad checkpoints.

Traffic is also normal at the border with North Macedonia.
