site.btaTrains to Run Direct Routes between Bucharest and Sofia, Varna and Istanbul
The Romanian railway company Caile Ferate Romane (CFR) reported that it will operate three new routes between June 14 and October 14. Trains will perform direct round trips between the Romanian capital and Sofia, Varna and Istanbul.
A one-way second-class ticket to Sofia or Varna costs just over EUR 30. The advance purchase period for train tickets for international travel is up to 90 days.
