President Rumen Radev had a telephone conversation with his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis, Radev's Press Secretariat reported here on Monday. The two discussed the security challenges in the Black Sea region in the context of the ongoing war Russia is waging against Ukraine, as well as its negative impact on Bulgaria and Romania.

Radev and Iohannis confirmed their countries' shared responsibility for guaranteeing the regional stability as partners with NATO, including for deepening the connectivity and economic ties between the two countries.
