The third edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum opens on March 1. 

This year the forum is dedicated to the promotion of diplomacy as a means to overcoming crises, the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency said. 

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum will take place until March 3 under the auspices of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the initiative of Turkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.   

Among participants will be Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. 

President Rumen Radev will attend the official opening of the Antalya Forum on March 1, after which he will take part in a leadership panel dedicated to the promotion of diplomacy in times of crises. 

The Bulgarian head of State will hold bilateral meetings with state and government leaders on the sidelines of the forum. 

There will be a total of 38 panels, including "Contact Group on Gaza", "The EU's Capability to Shape Global Transitions", "Rising Racism, Xenophobia and Islamophobia", "Essential Elements for a Lasting Peace in the Middle East". The conference will also include other sessions on various topics such as energy security, migration, climate change, and mediation during times of turmoil. 

Attending will be nearly ninety state and government leaders and senior officials from various countries, including Bulgaria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Egypt, Iraq, Hungary, Somalia, Armenia, Qatar, will attend.   

Speakers at the forum also include Marija Pejcinovic Buric, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Helga Maria Schmid, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and others.
