Vehicle No. 10,000,000 has crossed Danube Bridge 2, the Vidin Regional Administration announced here on Monday. A truck with Plovdiv licence plate driven by Stanislav Kozhuharov on the way back from the UK became the anniversary vehicle. Kozhuharov received gifts from the Bulgarian-Romanian Danube Bridge Vidin-Calafat company.

Vidin Regional Governor Ivo Atanasov was invited to the border crossing by the management of the joint Bulgarian-Romanian company. Representatives of the services from Calafat were also among the official guests.

The regional administration drew attention to the problem with kilometre-long queues on the bridge and expressed hope that traffic will gradually return to normal after Bulgaria's accession to Schengen.
