site.btaSerbian President Vucic: Gas Interconnector between Serbia and Bulgaria Will Be Opened by End of November

The gas interconnector between Serbia and Bulgaria, which is being built with the significant support of the European Union, will be opened by the end of November, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday after his meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Belgrade.

Vucic expecs that in 15 days the gas interconnector with Bulgaria will be completed and it will be opened with all permits in less than a month, by the end of November, quoted by Tanjug.

He added that significant grants and huge support from the EU were received for the implementation of this project. He called the EU he biggest economic partner of Serbia in all aspects.

With the EU, Serbia carries out two-thirds of the export of goods, half of the export of services and three-fifths of all foreign direct investments, noted Vucic.

Von der Leyen's visit is part of a tour of several Western Balkan countries. Vucic expressed his satisfaction about her visit as it is of great importance for his country.
