Bulgaria's Ambassador in Podgorica Stefan Dimitrov and Montenegro's Education Minister Miomir Vojinovic discussed the implementation of an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in education, which was signed and entered into force in December 2021, the Bulgarian Embassy in Montenegro says in a Facebook post.

Vojinovic told Dimitrov that concrete activities are already being carried out under the agreement. He recalled a visit by a Bulgarian Education and Science Ministry delegation to the Education Institute of Montenegro.

The two officials agreed that the next step should be to harmonize and sign an education cooperation programme between their countries' competent ministries, which will set out relevant priorities and activities and is expected to contribute to making bilateral relations even closer.
